Richfield Schools

There are 23 schools in the Richfield School District 280 - 17 of which are public and six are private. There is also one charter school. Richfield schools are separated into four stages of a youth development - Primary Development (grades K-2), Intermediate Schools (grades 3-5), Middle Schools (grades 6-8) and High Schools (grades 9-12). Primary schools focus on reading, writing and math. The Intermediate schools focus on teach/student bonds and core studies in reading, writing, math, science and language arts. Middle schools focus more on the core of reading, math, and science and are introduced into art, music and other exploratory courses while high schools focus on honors courses and college prep classes.
